Terms of Use
Terms for using TabOnion.
These terms apply to the TabOnion website, Chrome extension, local-first browser session tools, Pro access, trials, Onion Codes, referrals, and related services.
Effective date: April 30, 2026
Use of TabOnion
TabOnion helps you save, close, restore, organize, export, sync, and prepare browser sessions. You are responsible for the sessions, links, notes, exports, Markdown, and other content you choose to save or share with TabOnion.
Local data and backups
Many TabOnion features store data locally in your browser. Browser storage can be cleared by browser settings, extension removal, profile reset, device loss, or other local actions. Keep your own backups of important exported data.
Pro access, trials, Onion Codes, and referrals
TabOnion may offer free features, trial access, Pro access, Onion Codes, referral rewards, and campaign grants. Access may depend on backend entitlement verification. Codes and trials may expire, be limited, be revoked for abuse, or be unavailable.
Acceptable use
Do not use TabOnion to abuse, disrupt, reverse engineer, attack, overload, or circumvent TabOnion services. Do not attempt to fraudulently obtain Pro access, referral rewards, trial grants, or campaign benefits.
Third-party websites and content
TabOnion may store links to third-party websites that you choose to save. TabOnion does not control those websites and is not responsible for their content, availability, privacy practices, or changes.
Privacy
Use of TabOnion is also governed by the Privacy Policy, which explains how TabOnion handles selected tabs, local data, analytics, entitlement verification, referrals, and support requests.
Changes and availability
TabOnion may change, suspend, or discontinue features. Beta, trial, and Pro features may evolve as the product develops.
No warranty
TabOnion is provided as is and as available. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TabOnion disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TabOnion will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or business interruption.
